Twitter Micro-Fiction #1: Monsters

A collection of Twitter-length micro-fiction on the subject of “Monsters”.


“Providers”

Her claws gripped branches as the children walked below.  She pounced weeping, for she was a mother too.

 

“Damp”

She cringed as he carried her across the river.  Scared of water…  She was the worst kelpie ever!

 

“Alluring Performance”

Her talent show song provoked unprecedented regulatory complaints.  Mortified she offered apologies to shipwreck survivors and abandoned lovers.

 

“Ouroboros”

The cat mewled beneath the boy’s boot.  Being the bully actually felt good.

He was still crying though.
